The new project by Mothers United Moment (MUM), led by Shikha Khanna. This global initiative celebrates mothers’ inspiring journeys through self-portraits and personal stories. After the success of Volume One in Pune, India (2022), we’re excited to welcome 100 new mothers to join us.

• Global Participation: Mothers from over 20 countries shared their stories, reflecting the universal essence of motherhood.

• Diverse Backgrounds: Participants included professionals from various fields, such as ex-Air Force personnel, athletes, actresses, painters, coaches, scientists, administrators, and healers.

• Empowerment Workshops: The launch event in Pune featured activities like Art of Living sessions, sound healing, essential oil workshops, and a marathon.

• Media Recognition: The initiative garnered significant media attention, with coverage in prominent publications and platforms.

The Inception of "100 Self-Portraits, 100 Dreams"

In 2022, Shikha Khanna embarked on a mission to document the stories of 100 mothers from over 20 countries, culminating in the coffee table book "100 Self-Portraits, 100 Dreams." This collection showcased powerful self-portraits and compelling narratives, highlighting moments that define motherhood. The book received accolades from various quarters, including a letter of appreciation from the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.
